Club Creative / Play Activist
incorporating fun elements into serious issues
Previous
Next
This game shows that issues of biopiracy have a long history and affect the sovereignty over our food, medicines and cultures. Keeping a diversity of species and the knowledge
about them is a central message, as well as sharing seeds across communities.
1. The 9 plants represent a variety of crop species. Each of them has a history of biopiracy and tells us different issues that we can learn about.
2. Each plant comes with its own particular power, that is revealed on a token.
3. To win the game, it is not only important to have a range of different kinds of crops, but also a range of genetic varieties, and of course the knowledge about their secret powers.
